“Every time I drive a car, I want to get behind the wheel again, but it’s time to put an end to this chapter of our lives,” Briscoe told CTV News.

The couple sold their home, quit their jobs, and, inspired by a fateful event, embarked on a dream journey.
“My close relatives had cancer and someone died young,” Mattucci explained, adding that it changed their outlook on life.

The two decided it was time to travel the world. “Tomorrow is not guaranteed,” she added.
They first headed west through Canada and then back east through the United States, making several stops along the way.
One of my stays was in Florida to visit family, where I stayed for a month, chatting with other like-minded travelers and making new friends who had been on a similar journey..

What started as a way to update family and friends, eventually grew to over 3,000 viewers interested in the couple’s new lifestyle.
After their North American tour, the couple traveled to Europe, Southeast Asia, and the Pacific. They swam with sharks, skydived, and climbed mountains.
“A lot of people look forward to retirement, but you never know when they will be alive and ready to travel and do the things on their list,” Mattucci urged.
Three years later, Briscoe and Mattucci are back in London to close this chapter on their once-in-a-lifetime experience.
